Once I learned that early A.A. got its basic ideas from the Bible, I began a nineteen year search for the specific sources, roots, principles, and practices of the early A.A. program.
The starting point was DR. BOB and the Good Oldtimers. My first book was Dr. Bob's Library. And as time went on, with many travels, interviews, visits to libraries and collections, and attending thousands of meetings, the sixteen varied sources of A.A. became clear.
Early A.A.'s Christian fellowship derived most of its ideas from the younger days of both Dr. Bob and Bill in Vermont. See The Conversion of Bill W. and Dr. Bob of Alcoholics Anonymous. Today, I've published 33 titles on the subject and counting. Thanks for the invitation to your new resource site.
